Flood Advisory

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of northeast Nevada, including the following county, Elko, and the former Jakes fire burn scar area.

* WHEN...Until 230 PM PDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas within the Jakes fire burn scar area.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 927 AM PDT, Doppler radar indicates additional rainfall as showers and isolated thunderstorms make their way eastward into western Elko county. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 0.6 and 1.2 inches of rain have fallen during the early morning hours, leading to saturated soils in and around the Jakes fire burn scar. - Additional rainfall amounts of 0.2 to 0.4 inches are expected over the area.
