Tornado Warning

At 830 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located over Monument, moving east at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Tornado and quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is likely.

This dangerous storm will be near... Blanchard, Bald Eagle State Park, and Monument around 840 PM EDT.

Other locations impacted by this tornadic thunderstorm include Orviston, Howard, and Beech Creek.

For those driving on Interstate 80, this includes areas between the Bellefonte and Lamar exits, specifically from mile markers 167 to 170.
