Flash Flood Warning

At 535 PM MST, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 0.8 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas.

Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... San Isidro, Kitt Peak, Fresnal Canyon and Pan Tak.

This includes the following highways... Route 86 between mile markers 122 and 143. Route 286 between mile markers 23 and 39.
