At 434 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Marion Junction, or 11 miles east of Uniontown, moving south at 20 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible.
Locations impacted include... Orrville, Bogue Chitto, Vaiden, Marion Junction, Old Cahaba Park, Dannelly Reservoir, Perry County Correctional Center, Whites Bluff, Crumptonia, Safford, Vaiden Field Airport, and Hazen.
