* Flash Flood Warning for... Apache County in northeastern Arizona...
* Until 200 AM MDT.
* At 1122 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is expected. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.
HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing flash flooding.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams, normally dry washes, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.
* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Chinle, Canyon De Chelly National Monument, Del Muerto, Chinle Municipal Airport, Mummy Cave Overlook, Tsaile and White Clay.
This includes Highway 191 between mile markers 446 and 449.
