* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...Bird Creek near Owasso-Mingo.

* WHEN...From this afternoon to early Saturday afternoon.

* IMPACTS...At 17.0 feet, faster flows are expected along the river but no flooding occurs. Interests near the river and near Mohawk Park should continue to monitor later forecasts.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 2:00 PM CDT Thursday the stage was 10.5 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 17.0 feet early Saturday morning. This forecast is based on rain that has recently fallen plus the next 24 hours of forecast rainfall.
