Flash Flood Warning

At 645 PM MST, doppler radar indicated that the heavy rain has ended over the Havasu Creek basin. However, flooding remains a threat from earlier heavy rainfall. Between 0.5 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen. At 200 PM MST, a river gauge on Havasu Creek reported a rapid rise of 2.5 feet from thunderstorms producing heavy rain over the Havasu Creek basin. This rise is expected to reach Supai between 6 PM and 9 PM MST. Flash flooding is already occurring.

Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Little Navajo Falls, Mooney Falls, Beaver Falls, Havasupai Reservation, Supai and Hualapai Hilltop.

This includes the Colorado River between river miles 156 and 158.

This includes the following swimming holes... All swimming holes on Havasu Creek near Supai.

This includes the following creeks, washes and rivers... Little Coyote Canyon, Sinyella Canyon, Heather Wash, Colorado River, Pasture Wash, Black Tank Wash and Havasu Creek.
