At 553 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 9 miles southwest of Nicholls to near Pebble Hill to Bristol. Movement was southeast at 15 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts around 40 mph and excessive cloud-to-ground lightning.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Excessive cloud-to-ground lightning is occurring.
Locations impacted include... Waycross, Blackshear, Nahunta, Patterson, Offerman, Boggy Bay, Pebble Hill, Raybon, Jamestown, and Bristol.
