At 317 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong thunderstorms near Westview Circle, or near Wheatland, moving northeast at 10 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Accumulating hail can result in slick roadways.
Locations impacted include... Wheatland, Phifer Airfield, Lakeview North, Bordeaux, Westview Circle, Y-O Ranch, Chugcreek, Slater, and Platte County Fairgrounds.
