* WHAT...High temperatures up to 104 degrees expected with the warmest temperatures will be located in the southern San Joaquin Valley. Overnight lows between 70 and 75 degrees expected in the Sierra Foothills where the thermal belt is strongest.
* WHERE...San Joaquin Valley and Sierra Nevada foothills.
