* At 1158 AM AST, Doppler radar indicated strong thunderstorms, capable of producing winds to around 40 to 50 knots and frequent lighting. These thunderstorms were mainly over the nearshore and offshore Caribbean waters, moving west at 15 knots. Additional thunderstorms can move from Puerto Rico towards the nearshore Caribbean waters.
