Special Weather Statement

At 344 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong thunderstorms near Buhl, or 13 miles west of Twin Falls, as well as near Rogerson, moving north at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Areas of blowing dust reducing visibility. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible.

Locations impacted include... Twin Falls, Jerome, Buhl, Wendell, Filer, Hollister, Castleford, Cedar Creek Reservoir, Roseworth, Salmon Falls Dam, Norton Bay, Magic Valley Regional Airport, China Mountain, and Salmon Falls Reservoir.
