* WHAT...For the Extreme Heat Warning today, dangerously hot conditions with heat index values in excess of 110 degrees expected, as high as 115 to 120 degrees. For the Heat Advisory tomorrow, heat index values in excess of 105 degrees expected.

* WHERE...Portions of southeast Arkansas, northeast Louisiana, and central, north central, and northwest Mississippi.

* WHEN...For the Extreme Heat Warning today, until 9 PM CDT this evening. For the Heat Advisory tomorrow, from 10 AM to 8 PM CDT Wednesday.

* IMPACTS...Heat related illnesses increase significantly during extreme heat and high humidity events.
