At 126 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Woodland Park, or 17 miles northwest of Colorado Springs, moving northeast at 15 mph.
HAZARD...Heavy rain, wind gusts of 40 to 50 mph and half inch hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible.
Locations impacted include... Woodland Park, Monument, Air Force Academy, Palmer Lake, Green Mountain Falls, Crystola, Chipita Park, and Gleneagle.
