Flood Warning

...The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in Indiana...Illinois...

White River at Edwardsport down to Hazleton.

Wabash River at Montezuma down to Mount Carmel.

.Minor flooding continues along the White River below Newberry with the crest already past Hazleton. Minor flooding also continues on the Wabash River from Montezuma down to Mount Carmel with the crest just below Riverton. Overall dry weather is expected through at least Saturday.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Wabash River at Vincennes.

* WHEN...Until Friday evening.

* IMPACTS...At 18.0 feet, Agricultural lands and some oil fields flood. Several township roads about 1.25 miles south of St. Francesville and River Road between Billett Road and Lincoln Memorial Bridge in Lawrence County are flooded. Extensive flooding of Kimmell Park at Vincennes.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 7:45 PM CDT /8:45 PM EDT/ Monday the stage was 18.4 feet. - Bankfull stage is 10.0 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 7:45 PM CDT /8:45 PM EDT/ Monday was 18.4 feet. - Forecast...The river will rise to 18.8 feet Wednesday morning. It will then fall below flood stage late Friday morning to 9.3 feet early Sunday afternoon. It will rise to 9.4 feet Sunday evening.
