...The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in Indiana...Illinois...

White River at Edwardsport down to Hazleton.

Wabash River at Montezuma down to Mount Carmel.

.Minor flooding continues along the White River below Newberry with the crest already past Hazleton. Minor flooding also continues on the Wabash River from Montezuma down to Mount Carmel with the crest just below Riverton. Overall dry weather is expected through at least Saturday.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Wabash River at Montezuma.

* WHEN...Until late Tuesday night.

* IMPACTS...At 18.0 feet, Montezuma agricultural levee is overtopped. Fourteen hundred acres of low bottomlands flood.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 8:45 PM EDT Monday the stage was 17.4 feet. - Bankfull stage is 10.0 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 8:45 PM EDT Monday was 20.2 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage tomorrow afternoon and continue falling to 7.6 feet Thursday, September 03. - Flood stage is 14.0 feet. - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 17.5 feet on 04/08/1968. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
