* WHERE...Portions of Central and East Texas.

* WHEN...For the Extreme Heat Warning, until 9 PM CDT this evening. For the Heat Advisory, from 9 PM this evening to 9 PM CDT Tuesday.

* IMPACTS...Extreme heat and humidity will significantly increase the potential for heat related illnesses, particularly for those working or participating in outdoor activities. Hot temperatures and high humidity will increase the risk for heat-related illnesses to occur, particularly for those working or participating in outdoor activities.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Hot and dry conditions are increasing the risk of wildfires! Extreme care is urged during all outside activities where there is a potential for fires to get started.
