* WHAT...Dangerously hot conditions with high temperatures ranging from the mid 80s to lower 90s near the coast to the mid 90s to around 102 for the mesas and other higher coastal terrain expected. Nights will be very warm with low temperatures mostly in the 70s.
* WHERE...San Diego County Coastal Areas.
* WHEN...Until 8 PM PDT Thursday.
* IMPACTS...Heat related illnesses increase significantly during extreme heat events.
Instructions
Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors.
Do not leave young children and pets in unattended vehicles. Car interiors will reach lethal temperatures in a matter of minutes.
Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. Use extra caution.
