At 203 PM PDT, Doppler radar continues to indicate thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1.2 and 1.6 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.3 to 0.6 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.
SOURCE...Nevada Department of Transportation reports water and debris has moved across portions of US 6 and 50, near mile marker 61.
IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas.
Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... US Highways 6and 50, near mile marker 61, Connors Pass and Majors Place.
