.Heavy to extreme rainfall across northern central Indiana since last week has produced minor to moderate flooding along most of the Wabash River basin from Wildcat Creek down to Riverton, and minor flooding will develop at Vincennes and Mount Carmel over the next couple of days. The crest in moderate flood is currently at Montezuma and expected to reach Terre Haute overnight Thursday. Low end moderate to high end minor flooding are expected at points downriver of Terre Haute as well, with the crest finally reaching Mount Carmel around August 26th.

* IMPACTS...At 25.0 feet, Extensive flooding is in progress. Greenfield Bayou levee may leak. South Lake area extensively floods. Many local roads are under several feet of water.
