Details

An outflow boundary will continue surging southward through the Florida Keys coastal waters over the next couple of hours. Occasionally, showers and thunderstorms develop along this boundary as it continues surging south to southwestward between 15 to 20 knots. The boundary located across the SE Gulf extending southeastward to the Middle Keys. This boundary should approach the Lower Keys and surrounding nearshore waters over the next hour or so and then the western Straits of Florida within one to two hours. Mariners encountering the shower and thunderstorm activity can expect blinding downpours reducing visibility, wind gusts to near 30 knots with even a brief surge of 20 to 25 knots outside of this line.
