Wabash River at Riverton.

Wabash River at Hutsonville Legacy Power Plant Site.

Wabash River at Mount Carmel.

.Recent periods of heavy rainfall have led to flooding along portions of the Wabash River at Vincennes, Riverton, Hutsonville, and Mount Carmel. Points are expected to crest midweek and begin to fall below flood stage by the weekend.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Wabash River at Riverton.

* WHEN...Until Friday morning.

* IMPACTS...At 18.5 feet, High water surrounds elevated river cabins. County roads to these cabins are impassable. Agricultural flooding is in progress. Seep water develops behind levees.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 11:00 AM EDT Tuesday /10:00 AM CDT Tuesday/ the stage was 18.3 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 11:00 AM EDT Tuesday /10:00 AM CDT Tuesday/ was 18.4 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage Thursday evening and continue falling and remain below flood stage. - Flood stage is 15.0 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
