* WHAT...Southwest winds 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 40 mph for Lake Tahoe, Donner Lake, and Prosser and Boca reservoirs. Wave heights 1 to 3 feet on Lake Tahoe.

* WHERE...Greater Lake Tahoe Area.

* WHEN...From 11 AM Friday to 11 PM PDT Saturday.

* IMPACTS...Small boats, kayaks and paddle boards will be prone to capsizing and should remain off lake waters until conditions improve.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Winds may briefly subside Friday night before increasing again early Saturday morning.
