* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of northeast New Jersey, including the following counties, Bergen, Essex, Hudson, Passaic and Union.

* WHEN...Until 745 PM EDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 445 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. - Rainfall amounts up to 1 1/2 inch are expected over the area in a hour. This rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Newark, Jersey City, Paterson, Elizabeth, Passaic, Bayonne, Wayne, Hoboken, Plainfield, Bloomfield, Hackensack, Linden, Orange, Bergenfield, Summit, Lyndhurst, Millburn, Rutherford, Secaucus and Harrison. - This includes the following Event Locations...
