A front moving across the Arctic Coast today will bring rain showers which transition to a wintry mix this evening. The chances for a wintry mix increase from 5PM to 11PM tonight. This wintry mix can be sleet, snow and freezing drizzle. After midnight Thursday night, the steadiest and heaviest precipitation should transition to a mist or freezing drizzle which can result in patchy ice, especially on colder/elevated surfaces. Otherwise, Friday will be chilly with patchy ice possible in the morning. If there is any ice, it will melt by the late morning on Friday.
