* WHAT...For the Hurricane Warning, east winds 40 to 65 kt with gusts up to 70 kt and seas 18 to 23 feet. For the Small Craft Advisory, northeast winds 15 to 25 kt with gusts up to 35 kt and seas 7 to 12 feet.

* WHERE...Alenuihaha Channel, Big Island Leeward Waters and Big Island Southeast Waters.

* WHEN...For the Hurricane Warning, 6 PM Friday until 6 AM Sunday. For the Small Craft Advisory, until 6 PM HST Friday.

* IMPACTS...Extremely strong winds will cause hazardous seas which will likely capsize or damage vessels and severely reduce visibility.
