Severe Thunderstorm Warning

At 153 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from 4 miles west of Dorchester to 6 miles south of Friend to near Milligan, moving southeast at 45 mph.

HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Public report of a measured 69 mph wind gust and quarter sized hail in Friend, NE at 1:51 PM.

IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect considerable tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings.

Locations impacted include... Western, Wilber, Swanton, De Witt and Clatonia.
