Arkansas River At Lamar affecting Prowers County.
* WHAT...Flooding has been reported by emergency management.
* WHERE...Arkansas River at Lamar.
* WHEN...From this afternoon to late tonight.
* IMPACTS...At 10.0 feet, The river is bankfull. Minor overbank flow into lowlands along the river occurs near Lamar. Water flows into low lying meadows near County Road 13.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 5:00 PM MST Thursday the stage was 8.9 feet. - Bankfull stage is 10.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 9.6 feet late this evening. - Flood stage is 11.0 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive cars through flooded areas.
