At 745 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong thunderstorms along a line extending from near Ebony to Norlina to near Kittrell. Movement was east at 35 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible.
Locations impacted include... Roanoke Rapids, Henderson, Oxford, Louisburg, Warrenton, Norlina, Littleton, Kittrell, Stovall, and Castalia.
This includes Interstate 85 between Mile Markers 202 and 233.
