* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...Western Dawson County in south central Nebraska... Gosper County in south central Nebraska...

* WHEN...Until 200 AM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 955 PM CDT, Automated rain gauges, radar estimation and emergency management confirmed heavy rain in the Advisory area due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is already occurring within parts of the area, due to between 1.5 and 2.5 inches of rain falling...mostly in 1 hour or less. Emergency management reported street flooding in Gothenburg at 947 PM CDT. Once the heaviest rain ends, additional rainfall should be less than one-half inch in the lighter rain trailing the main area of thunderstorms. - This includes the following streams and drainages... Muddy Creek, Spring Creek, East Branch Turkey Creek, Deer Creek, Elk Creek, Turkey Creek, East Branch Muddy Creek, Plum Creek, Buffalo Creek, North Plum Creek, Swartz Creek, West Branch Turkey Creek, Elder Creek, Dry Creek, Johnson Lake Area, Stump Ditch Creek, Gallagher Canyon State Recreation Area and West Buffalo Creek. - Some locations that could experience flooding include...
