The National Weather Service in Fort Worth has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for... Western Falls County in central Texas...

* Until 1230 AM CDT.

* At 1000 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain along and west of US-77, including the Cego, Lott, and Rosebud areas. Between 1 and 3 inches of rain have fallen, and the expected forecast rainfall rate is up to 3 to 5 inches in 1 hour. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.

HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing flash flooding.

IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Rosebud, Lott, Golinda, Chilton, Wilson, Travis, Tomlinson Hill, Durango, Westphalia, Cedar Springs, Cego, Mooreville, Barclay, Satin, Pleasant Grove, Terrys Chapel, Belfalls, Wilderville and Highbank.
