The National Weather Service in Albany has extended the

* Flash Flood Warning for... South Central Greene County in east central New York... Northeastern Ulster County in east central New York...

* Until 1100 AM EDT.

* At 737 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain across the warned area. Between 2 and 4 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by heavy rain.

IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas.

Hunter, Woodstock, North-South Lake Campground, Lanesville, West Hurley, Tannersville, Elka Park, Edgewood, Haines Falls, East Jewett, Platte Clove, Shady, Lake Hill, South Jewett, Willow, Byrdcliffe, Mountain House, Bearsville, Daisy and Palenville.
