West Fork Big Blue River Near Dorchester affecting Saline and Seward Counties.
* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...West Fork Big Blue River near Dorchester.
* WHEN...Until late Sunday night.
* IMPACTS...At 15.0 feet, Overflows commence along the low banks.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 4:00 PM CDT Saturday the stage was 16.3 feet. - Bankfull stage is 15.0 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 4:00 PM CDT Saturday was 16.5 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 16.3 feet this evening. It will then fall below flood stage late tomorrow morning. - Flood stage is 15.0 feet. - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 16.4 feet on 06/08/1965. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
