* WHAT...Small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...North Central Elbert County in east central Colorado... Eastern Adams County in northeastern Colorado... Arapahoe County in northeastern Colorado...
* WHEN...Until 700 PM MDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Rises in small streams and normally dry creeks.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 401 PM MDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This may cause small stream flooding. Between 0.5 and 2 inches of rain have fallen.
- This includes the following streams and drainages... Muddy Creek, Key Creek, Badger Creek, Comanche Creek, Rattlesnake Creek, Poision Springs Creek, Bijou Creek, East Fork Little Muddy Creek, First Creek, West Fork San Arroyo Creek, Wilson Creek, Wolf Creek, East Bijou Creek, Hay Gulch, West Bijou Creek and Middle Bijou Creek. Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include... Deer Trail, Leader and Shamrock.
