The National Weather Service in Flagstaff has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for... The White Sage Fire scar in... Coconino County in north central Arizona...

* Until 645 PM MST.

* At 345 PM MST, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain over the White Sage Fire scar. Between 0.5 and 1 inch of rain has fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.

HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing flash flooding in and around the White Sage Fire scar.

IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of areas in and around the White Sage Fire scar.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Le Fevre Overlook.

This includes U.S. Highway 89A near mile marker 563...and between mile markers 571 and 576...and between mile markers 585 and 591.

This includes the following creeks, washes and rivers... Coyote Wash, Rock Canyon, Johnson Wash, Jacob Canyon, Wildcat Canyon, Kaibab Wash and House Rock Wash.
