Coastal Flood Advisory

* WHAT...Minor coastal flooding expected due to the combination of high tides and elevated surf.

* WHERE...San Diego County Coastal Areas and Orange County Coastal Areas.

* WHEN...Until 5 PM PDT Wednesday.

* IMPACTS...Minor coastal flooding and minor coastal erosion expected during high tides. Additionally, elevated surf will lead to strong rip currents.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Elevated surf of 2-4 feet with local sets to 5 feet on south-facing beaches. Morning high tides are expected to peak between 6.8 and 7.1 feet during the late mornings between 10 AM and noon through Wednesday. These tide predictions have been corrected to reflect current trends in observed tide observations.
