At 430 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated strong thunderstorms, capable of producing winds to around 30 knots. These thunderstorms were located along a line extending from 24 nm northwest of Fairport Harbor to 6 nm southwest of Willowick, moving east at 30 knots.
