At 619 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Ogallala, moving east at 35 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible.
Locations impacted include... Ogallala, Paxton, Keystone, Sarben, Roscoe, Kingsley Dam, Nevens, Broganville, and Lake View Campground.
This includes the following highways... Highway 61 between mile markers 80 and 98. Interstate 80 in Nebraska between mile markers 121 and 149.
