At 430 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a line of strong thunderstorms extending from 10 miles south of Variadero to over Santa Rosa Lake State Park, moving southeast at 20 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible.
Locations impacted include... Santa Rosa, Cuervo and Santa Rosa Lake State Park.
This includes the following highways... Interstate 40 between Mile Markers 277 and 296. State Road 104 between Mile Markers 57 and 61.
