* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall from repeated rounds of showers and thunderstorms is possible.
* WHERE...Portions of east central, northeast, and southeast Kentucky, including the following counties, in east central Kentucky, Bath, Elliott, Fleming, Menifee, Montgomery, Powell and Rowan. In northeast Kentucky, Johnson and Martin. In southeast Kentucky, Morgan.
* WHEN...From 2 PM EDT this afternoon through Saturday morning.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Several rounds of showers and thunderstorms are expected to pass over northern Kentucky from this afternoon through Saturday morning. The rain will likely be heavy at times and move over the same locations. Rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected for the watch area with localized amounts up to 4 inches possible where sustained training of storm cells occur.
