At 520 PM MDT, surface observations indicated a line of strong thunderstorms extending from near Socorro to 29 miles southwest of Bosque Del Apache Refuge, moving east at 25 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph.
SOURCE...Surface observations. At 515 PM MDT, the Socorro Airport reported a 53 mph wind gust.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include... Socorro, Bosque Del Apache Refuge, San Antonio, Laborcita and Luis Lopez.
This includes the following highways... Highway 380 between Mile Markers 1 and 19. Highway 60 between Mile Markers 126 and 138. Interstate 25 between Mile Markers 103 and 150.
