Wabash River at Lafayette...Covington...Hutsonville...and Riverton.

...The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in Illinois...Indiana...

Wabash River at Montezuma...Terre Haute...and Vincennes.

.On the Wabash River...moderate flooding will continue at Montezuma and Terre Haute into this weekend...with otherwise widespread minor flooding from Lafayette to Vincennes. Flooding is forecast to end on Wildcat Creek midday Friday...and on the Wabash at Lafayette early Saturday. The main crest will be slowly crossing Terre Haute through Saturday...with a secondary, much smaller, crest now leaving Lafayette...forecast to spread out before reaching Covington. Flooding will begin at Vincennes Friday evening...with the main crest forecast to arrive Tuesday night.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Wabash River at Lafayette.

* WHEN...Until late Saturday evening.

* IMPACTS...At 12.0 feet, Water may approach a couple low county roads.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 11:30 PM EDT Thursday the stage was 12.9 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 11:30 PM EDT Thursday was 12.9 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet just after midnight tonight.
