Details

A Bering Sea low moving through the Bering Strait early Monday morning will move through the Chukchi Sea through the rest of the day on Monday. South-southwest winds will increase water levels to around 1 to 3 feet above the normal high tide line during the Monday and Tuesday high tides around the Seward Peninsula. Water levels around 2 to 4 feet above the normal high tide line are possible from Kotzebue to Kivalina. There is still some uncertainty with the exact water level heights, and they will be monitored over the next couple of days.
