Details

* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible.
* WHERE...For Highway 30 counties and areas south to the Missouri border in central Iowa.
* WHEN...Until 10 AM CDT this morning.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Several rounds of rain have brought 2 to 6 inches of rain to central Iowa this week. Additional rainfall is possible through early this morning. Saturated soils and high rainfall rates may overwhelm capacity, which will increase flooding potential.
