The river crested at 40.44 ft at 4:30am & is falling. As a result of the release, debris in the water remains possible on the Taku River, extending down Taku Inlet, & into Stephens Passage, & the water temperature in that area may also still be colder than normal through tonight.

For Taku River near Juneau: At 7:00am the stage was 40.3 feet & falling. Forecast: Water levels will continue to fall through tonight.
