At 910 PM MDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1 and 4 inches of rain have fallen in the last 6 hours. The expected rainfall rate is 0.25 to 0.75 inches in 1 hour. Flash flooding is already occurring. Shower and thunderstorm activity is ending so the threat for additional flash flooding continues to decrease.
HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing flash flooding.

IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.
Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Sapello, Tierra Monte, El Porvenir, Storrie Lake State Park, Ledoux, Gascon, Morphy Lake State Park, Manuelitas, Gallinas and South Carmen.
This includes the following highways... State Road 518 between Mile Markers 3 and 17...and between Mile Markers 30 and 31. Interstate 25 between Mile Markers 349 and 361. State Road 104 between Mile Markers 3 and 7.
