At 1109 PM EDT, emergency management reported thunderstorms producing heavy rain in Signficant street flooding in portions of Ellijay and East Ellijay. Between 3 and 4.5 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1.5 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is already occurring.
