* WHAT...Small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...North Central Lincoln County in east central Colorado... South Central Washington County in northeastern Colorado...
* WHEN...Until 945 PM MDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Rises in small streams and normally dry creeks.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 652 PM MDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This may cause small stream flooding. Between 0.5 and 2 inches of rain have fallen.
- This includes the following streams and drainages... Vega Creek, Sand Creek, Gordon Creek, Dugout Creek and North Fork Arikaree River. Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include... Lindon and Anton.
