Flash Flood Warning

At 643 PM MST, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain over the White Sage Fire scar. Between 0.5 and 1 inch of rain has fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.25 to 0.5 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.

HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing flash flooding in and around the White Sage Fire scar.

Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Mainly rural areas of Coconino County.

This includes U.S. Highway 89A near mile marker 563...and between mile markers 571 and 575.

This includes the following creeks, washes and rivers... Coyote Wash, Rock Canyon and House Rock Wash.
