Flood Advisory

* WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of east Tennessee, including the following counties, Carter, Unicoi and Washington.

* WHEN...Until 1145 PM EDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 838 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream flooding. Up to 2 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are possible as a few more showers move across the region this evening. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Johnson City, Elizabethton, Jonesborough, Pine Crest, Midway, Central, Hampton, Unicoi, Milligan College, Avondale, Leesburg and Telford. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
